POSITION TITLE: Gastroenterologist - Dignity Health Medical Group - AZ (DHMG-AZ). REPORTS TO: Academic Chairman, Internal Medicine - DHMG
ABOUT THE POSITION: The Department of Internal Medicine at Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) supplies services among subspecialties in gastroenterology, cardiology, endocrinology, hepatology, palliative care, infectious disease, and transitional care within the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan Area.
Currently, our gastroenterology department is looking for a dynamic physician to join our growing team of high-quality caregivers with an emphasis on inflammatory Bowel Disease and Motility Disorders.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional clinical care and an interest in medical education. Though the pursuit of providing innovative and high-quality clinical care remains the priority of our providers, faculty appointments, research opportunities, quality improvement, and patient advocacy involvement is encouraged for interested physicians.
Through the Creighton University School of Medicine (CUSOM) and the Alliance, the DHMG Division of Gastroenterology will continue to provide educational enhancement to medical students, residents, and GI fellows who rotate through the St. Josephs Hospital campus in sunny, Phoenix, Arizona. REQUIREMENTS: - MD or DO Degree and Board Certification
- General gastroenterology skills with scoping required
- Completed ACGME Residency training with current ABMS Board Certification
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
- Must obtain Arizona State medical licensure prior to starting in the position
