The George Washington University Hospital (GW Hospital) is a 395-bed tertiary care, academic medical center located in downtown Washington, DC, next to the Foggy Bottom metro. POSITION SUMMARY

The Pharmacy Purchasing Agent assists the Director of Pharmacy with all purchasing activities of the department in order to maintain an efficient operation of drug distribution and control within the facility. Pharmacy Purchasing Agents function in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines and state and federal regulations. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist.
