Knoxville Rehabilitation Hospital is a tri-venture between Kindred Healthcare, Tennova Healthcare and the University of Tennessee Medical Center. The 57-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee will provide care for patients across an 11-county region with impairments resulting from a traumatic medical situation, such as stroke, serious spinal cord and brain injury, neurologic illness, major multiple trauma, and orthopedic conditions with complex or profound impairments.
Under the supervision of the Chief Clinical Officer, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physician's orders, department policies and procedures.
Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
Current CPR certification.
Current Mandatory reporter.
Three (3) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services.
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
