Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando
Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America
AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country

The role you’ll contribute:
The role of the Community Engagement Coordinator is to plan and implement Team Member volunteer initiatives for the AdventHealth Central Florida Division South. This position reports directly to the Community Engagement Manager. They are responsible for maintaining relationships with community partners that enable AdventHealth Team Members to serve the Central Florida community; maintaining a volunteer registration system to make it easy for Team Members to stay involved; and promoting the CareCrew Volunteer Program brand through recruitment and retention events. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Coordinates Annual Week of Caring and campus service days by creating unique opportunities for team members from all Central Florida Division South campuses to volunteer in multiple counties.
Manage program metrics through the Team Member volunteer database to evaluate the contribution of each volunteer, department, and campus on a monthly basis, by effectively tracking hours and generating reports.
Elevate the CareCrew volunteer program by creating presentations and interactive experiences at events such as rounding, tabling, event activations, and other campus functions.
Collaborate with community-based program leaders and the Community Advocacy Team to develop partnership engagement initiatives and volunteer opportunities that align with AdventHealth’s community health priorities as outlined in the Community Health Needs Assessment.
Create and execute plan of activities for monthly volunteer recruitment efforts.
Collaborate with AdventHealth’s Communication and Marketing teams to ensure volunteer program branding visibility, promotion of volunteer opportunities, and telling stories of volunteers in action through internal and external media.
Assess any problematic situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations through our vetting processes.
Promotes the mission of AdventHealth in all interactions with internal and external partners.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, healthcare administration, health sciences, communications, public relations, marketing, non-profit management, education, or related field or four (4) years of relevant experience.
National CAVS Certification (Certified Administrator of Volunteer Services) (Preferred)
