Qualified candidates will have completed an ACGME accredited Dermatology Residency and be board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. The candidate will be expected to provide clinical care as well as actively participate in the team's academic programs, including teaching of Dermatology residents and medical students and participation in grand rounds and journal clubs. The Department of Dermatology is a clinically oriented department and has been an integral part of the core mission of Rush University Medical Center. The dermatology faculty foster a collaborative atmosphere with clinical expertise in a variety of clinical areas. The brand new 60,000-square-foot RUSH outpatient center at North & Harlem Avenues in Chicago, set to open in July 2025, is part of RUSH's commitment to delivering the best care available, close to home at locations across the Chicago area. Rush North & Harlem will significantly expand access to RUSH primary and specialty care for northwest Chicago and suburban patients in near west communities like Oak Park, River Forest and Elmwood Park, by offering some of the most sought-after healthcare services -- including nationally ranked specialties like neurology and cardiology. The new center is another example of how RUSH is working to deliver the best care and outcomes across the Chicago area and Northwest Indiana.
