Ball Memorial's medical diabetes unit is an 18-bed unit specializes in providing exceptional care for patients transitioning from progressive to medical levels of care. We specialize in the care of the acutely ill Diabetic Patients. Join our dynamic team on the Progressive Care Unit using the innovative Team-Based Acuity Adaptable Model (TBAAM). Our dedicated team includes skilled nurses, patient care assistants, a unit secretary, an RN case manager, a geographically placed physician, a pharmacist, and a dietician.

Qualifications

Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.

Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.

Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.

Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
